OMS Adventure Sports Camps are fun-filled including activities such as hiking, mountain biking, running, rock climbing, rappelling, kayaking, paddle boarding, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing and swimming. Athletes will also work on team building skills and learn strategies to problem solve as a group. This day camp's schedule runs from 9 am- 4 pm.
Current OMS athletes are encouraged to attend, but the camp is open to all ages 10-16, including those who may not be training for winter snow sports. The cost for the full week is $650. Financial assistance is available on a need-basis. A 10% discount is offered for campers attending two or more full week sessions. Use the buttons to the right to register your camper today!
Prerequisite Expectations:
Camp includes a considerable amount of mountain biking. Campers are expected to come to camp able to shift their bike appropriately, understand how to use their brakes, stand up while riding, and navigate uphill and downhill terrain.
Bikes should be in good working order before the start of camp - brakes must work well and the bike must be able to be shifted though all the gears while riding without the chain derailing. A tune up is a good idea before coming to camp, if your bike is older or not operating properly. We have access to a limited number of rental bikes available at additional cost for those that do not have a bike.
All campers must be able to swim. Those that feel more comfortable wearing a life jacket while swimming are welcome to use one for any water activities. All campers must have a life jacket while on any boats, paddle boards, water skis or while tubing.
Campers are expected to be well behaved and work with others as a team. This is an athletics focused camp and includes bike riding uphill, hiking, and other physically demanding activities. Campers must embrace challenging activities.
Payment Policy:
Payment must be received within one week of online registration or must be paid in full by the first day of camp, whichever comes sooner. Any unpaid camper may lose their spot or be unable to attend camp.
General Refund Policy:
In the event that a camper is unable to attend a session for which they have registered, their parent/guardian must notify Jet Robbins, Summer Camps Coordinator, by email (jrobbins@okemomountainschool.org) 30+ days prior to the associated camp start date to receive a refund for paid registration less 10% for processing and administration fees, or to receive the full amount as credit for a future summer camp.
Campers who cancel by email notice less than 30 days prior to camp start date are eligible to receive full credit for a future OMS Summer Adventure Sports Camp. Refunds are not available less than 30 days prior to the respective camp start date unless the spot can be filled by a waitlisted camper. In this case, a refund of the camp fee less 10% will be issued.
vaccine Policy:
As of June 2024, Okemo Mountain School no longer requires vaccination against COVID-19. However, Okemo Mountain School highly encourages annual flu shots and COVID-19 boosters for all student- athletes, camp participants, faculty, and staff.
The Okemo Mountain School Board of Directors will regularly review this policy and reserves the right to revise said policy as needed to stay in line with state and/or national public health recommendations.

I want to start off by saying that these camps are filled with some of the most fun things in the world. We do actives from repelling down cliffs to wake surfing. It also involves working out and preparing for ski season. On top of everything, the 2 counselors, Jet & Chris, are some of the nicest people ever. To sum it up, these camps are spectacular, balancing fun and preparation for ski season!
