Air Travel:
The coaches are booked on a flight from Boston - Denver. Any athletes wishing to travel with the coaches should book the same flights. If your athlete is under 15 years old, you will want to book with Winter Park Travel to associate with the coaches’ tickets and avoid additional fees. If anyone chooses to travel a different flight itinerary, they may need to use the Epic Mountain Express for travel from the airport to Keystone. Details regarding booking your travel will be sent to you upon registering for camp.

Academics:
Currently enrolled OMS student-athletes will work with their OMS teachers over the course of the camp via a combination of email correspondence and phone/video conferencing contact (as schedule allows). They will be expected to continue working through their assignments at a reasonable pace using their study hall time wisely and requesting additional school time from the coaches if needed. Campers who are not currently enrolled OMS student-athletes will also be expected to complete school work that they have personally arranged from their sending schools during the study hall times. Should the need for any subject specific support arise, OMS can provide remote tutoring for non-OMS campers on an as needed basis - final arrangements TBD. Should you wish to explore this option, please contact Mariel Meringolo (mmeringolo@okemomountainschool.org). If camp enrollment is high enough, OMS will send a member of our teaching faculty on the trip to help coordinate academics and oversee study halls for all campers.
COVID-19 Camp Policies:
COVID-19 camp policies will be shared in full prior to departure, or upon request. However, please be aware of the following:
All campers who are currently eligible (12+) for the COVID-19 vaccine MUST be fully vaccinated prior to departure (14 days past their second dose by 11/4/21). Proof of vaccination will be required via a secure OMS form. Click HERE to complete the form. This link will be re-sent once you register. OMS student-athletes who have already submitted this form do not need to do so again. All camp coaches are vaccinated.
All campers and staff, regardless of vaccination status, will provide proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test result from a sample drawn within 72 hours prior to departure.
Masks will be worn by all campers and staff in any public, indoor setting and on modes of public transportation, as required by the TSA. Masks will be required outdoors only if it is required by the outdoor venue. Masks will not be required within the camp’s private lodging space.
